Alexandra Monroy is a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed attorney in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Colombia (South America), a graduate from Howard University School of Law in Washington DC, and a member of American Immigration Lawyers Association "AILA". She has more than 15 years of experience as an attorney. She founded her own legal practice, "The Law Office of Alexandra Monroy", in the fall of 2012, the firm is focused in the immigration practice, she has successfully represented foreign nationals in deportation proceedings, family based petitions, waivers of inadmissibility and deferred action applications among other cases. She also represents before immigration court, state court and U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services, unaccompanied children that crossed the U.S border running away from extreme poverty and violence in their home countries.
